We are excited to announce the opening of MoCA Arlington's Innovation Studio + Store at Amazon's HQ2 in National Landing BID! Our Innovation Studio + Store is the museum's second location and is designed for you to connect with #contemporaryart and #artists. At this 1500 sq ft retail space, you can shop, attend special programs and drop-in sessions, meet the artist-in-residence working within the studio, and make art of your own! The space complements the work of our flagship museum and will inspire you, while you experience contemporary art in an interactive setting! Just like our museum, there is no admission fee to enter the Innovation Studio + Store! Visit anytime Tuesdays through Saturdays from 10am to 6pm. We're so grateful for all of your support! Together, we will make 2024 MoCA Arlington's most impactful year yet as we celebrate our 50th anniversary. #exploreart #contemporaryart #artmuseum #arlingtonva #mocaarlington

Our strength is connecting the #community with contemporary art and artists. Every week, we're making a difference and inspiring people of all ages thanks to donations from you! And the best part is when we get thank you notes from people who have benefited from your support, like this one from Ayleyna, age 10! If you have a chance to donate today, please do. We could really use some help to make 2024 shine! Visit mocaarlington.org to give online! #givingtuesday #givingtuesday2023 #contemporaryart #artforall #artmuseums #arlingtonva

Our LGW Signature Program class gets to participate in “Arts Day,” a day dedicated to learning more about the arts community in our area and how advocacy, funding and government support enable the continuation of creative organizations or programs. Yesterday, our class visited Dance Place, Life Pieces To Masterpieces, Imagination Stage, Inc., and Museum of Contemporary Art Arlington, then finished off the day at Joe's Movement Emporium. They toured the facilities to learn more about theater, dance, music, and visual art and the important role they play in DMV arts ecosystem. There was also an afternoon panel of art sector experts in the DC region that shared their expertise. A major thank you to Theresa Cameron, Maria Manuela Goyanes, Jeffery Tribble Jr., J.D., and Linda Sullivan for sharing their creative insight. Creative arts bring people together and build strong connections within our communities. I greatly value the arts’ place in our society and am glad we can expose our Signature Program classes to local programs and organizations in our region. #arts #supportthearts #artseducation
