Content Moderation Software
ToxMod is gaming’s only proactive, voice-native moderation solution. Built on advanced machine learning technology and designed with player safety and privacy in mind, ToxMod triages voice chat to flag bad behavior, analyzes the nuances of each conversation to determine toxicity, and enables moderators to quickly respond to each incident by supplying relevant and accurate context. In contrast to reactive reports, which rely on players to take the effort to report bad behavior, ToxMod is the only voice moderation solution in games today that enables studios to respond proactively to toxic behavior and prevent harm from escalating. Developers and game studios of all sizes use ToxMod to reduce churn, delight players, and build healthier communities.

To build or to buy? That is the question! Join us for our first episode of the Prosocial Hour, where we're hosting a conversation between CEO & Co-founder Mike Pappas and Senior Game Engines Engineer Guy Elsmore-Paddock on the age-old question: Build vs. Buy? When it comes to protecting your online platform users from harassment, toxicity, and other harms, content moderation is one important piece of the #TrustAndSafety puzzle, but should you build your own moderation system or lean on a vendor's expertise? Prosocial Hour is an hour-ish long conversation between Modulate experts and our friends in tech, gaming, online safety, regulation, and more. Tune in and see you soon!

We're expanding ToxMod's impact beyond just games! We originally created ToxMod to make online gaming spaces safer, and with success in games and platforms like Call of Duty, Rec Room, and more, we've seen the positive impact that proactive voice moderation can have for a community's health and safety. From ride share and delivery to social and online dating platforms anywhere you use your voice to communicate, we want to help to make those interactions safer. We've cooked up new features like integrated text moderation for a truly all-in-one moderation solution and prosocial behavior detection -- after all, improving online spaces doesn't stop at just finding the "bad;" we should also find and encourage the "good!" In addition to ToxMod's powerful voice safety capabilities, we've also added phone number masking to help guard delivery drivers' privacy through a feature we call Confidential Connect. We’re wrapping up an enriching experience at the ASEAN ICT Forum, where we led the “Gaming for Good: Promoting Child Safety, Well-Being and Positive Gender Norms in Virtual Worlds” session. The discussion brought together key voices from the gaming industry, emphasising the importance of designing online environments that not only prioritise children's safety but also challenge rigid gender norms. Here’s what our panellists had to say: 💡 Taktyl Studios: As online gaming has evolved into full virtual experiences mimicking real life, we need stronger actions to ensure children’s safety in these environments. 💡 the LEGO Group: It is crucial to create an online environment where children can safely learn about and manage the risks they may face. 💡 Cyberlite: Boys’ online experiences and the risks they face are often overlooked—we need to actively seek and address their perspectives. 💡 Modulate: Future regulations must be versatile and adaptable to evolving technologies and children’s online experiences. Thank you to all our panellists for their valuable insights! Together, we’re shaping safer virtual spaces for children. #ASEANICTForum #ICTForum #ChildSafety #ChildProtection #OnlineGaming Agate | k-ID
