Our project Team has been hard at work at the T40.01 Biosolids Project getting ready for a key milestone. Here the Team is setting the 3rd of 5 Fixed Digester Covers. We appreciate their efforts and all who helped make this accomplishment possible. These five (5) new Digesters are replacing the six (6) existing digesters that MMC restored 10 years ago. On Saturday 10/28/2023, the Mech JV team accomplished a huge feat by setting 2 of 3 of the new cake hoppers for the BioSolids project in San Francisco. The team encountered many challenges along the way with this aspect of the project, making it all the more satisfying to see some of the units placed in their new homes. Special recognition and thanks to our subcontractor, Danny’s Construction Co., for all of their hard work on tackling these challenges head on and succeeding in getting these hoppers assembled, welded, and set in place. Danny’s worked many weekends in order to get this work done for us and we appreciate all of their efforts. One last hopper will be set in the coming weeks! This past Friday 10/27/2023, the folks from Contra Costa Metal Fab and Monterey Mechanical gathered to celebrate the retirement of CCMF’s Division Manager Tod Mundy. Tod first started working at CCMF when he was 14-years-old and has been an essential part of both the CCMF and MMC families ever since. 48 years later and he is ready to start a new journey in his retirement.
