Bears brought peanut butter, Lions brought jelly! In honor of the rivalry #MotownShowdown football game between Montgomery High School and Lake Creek High School, Montgomery Independent School District held a “We Go Together Like PB&J Drive” benefiting Montgomery County Food Bank! The PB&J Drive was won by the Lions with 6,007 lbs of jelly to the Bears' 2,284 lbs of peanut butter! What an impact for our community! We are so grateful to both high schools’ student councils for putting this friendly competition together, and to each of the MISD schools that participated. Together, we are stronger in the fight against hunger! 🥪🥜🍇 #pbjdrive #MontgomeryTX

Standing Together for Hurricane Helene Relief ❤️ | At Montgomery County Food Bank, we know firsthand the impact disasters like Hurricane Helene can have on our communities. We’ve been there before through Hurricane Harvey, Winter Storm Uri, and most recently Hurricane Beryl. In times of crisis, support from near and far can make all the difference. Through our relationship with Houston Food Bank, truckloads of disaster supplies have already been sent to help those affected. If you’re looking for the best way to make an impact, monetary donations are the most effective form of support. Every dollar helps provide critical resources to those in need. Join us in standing in solidarity with our neighbors by donating to support the relief efforts.
