The Humane Society of Statesboro and Bulloch County recently received $6,000 from the Morris Bank Community Foundation to purchase new animal traps and a storage shed to stock them in for continued use. This allows the team to sustain their trap-neuter-release (TNR) program that serves our community and the animals that are a part of it. We appreciate all you do!

Morris Bank donated $200,000 to Georgia Hospitals! As a participant in the Georgia HEART Hospital Program, Morris Bank recently donated $200,000 to local hospitals in middle Georgia, including Dodge County Hospital, Candler County Hospital, and Effingham Health System. The program designates rural and critical access hospitals in Georgia to help increase funding and provide quality healthcare to thousands of patients state-wide. “Four years ago, Morris Bank began our participation in the Georgia HEART Hospital Program to help support the healthcare needs of our communities and our surrounding counties.
