About us
Mosaic Life Care is health care, re-imagined. We are dedicated to not only treating you when you are sick, but also to keeping you healthy. That’s life care. At Mosaic Life Care, we are committed to providing the best and safest care, while creating a warm, inviting environment for our patients, family members and caregivers. We’ve developed an innovative life-care model that includes traditional health care, as well as a focus on other aspects of our patients’ lifestyles that affect their overall wellness. Mosaic Life Care, a recipient of the 2009 Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award and named one of the nation’s top performers on key quality measures by The Joint Commission in 2010, is the next generation of health care. As a member of the Mayo Clinic Care Network, our physicians have the opportunity to seek Mayo Clinic expertise through eConsults. By working together, we hope to build new and innovative ways to provide the best possible care. Mayo Clinic and Mosaic Life Care share a common philosophy, commitment and mission to improve the delivery of care.

Year nine of Coffee for a Cure is in the books! The Human Bean took in $12,656.10 in sales and tips on Friday, October 18, supporting area breast cancer patients. With the Mosaic Life Care Auxiliary match, that brings the grand total to $25,312.20, benefitting the Mosaic Life Care Auxiliary Breast Cancer Patient Assistance Fund. Congratulations to Jacy Brooks, winner of the autographed Kansas City Chiefs Linebacker Drue Tranquill jersey, and cheers to Cassie Walker, winner of the Kansas City Royals Game Day Package. A huge thank you to all who volunteered, bought drinks and baked goods, and of course, donated extra tips.

If you give a wolf a cookie, he’ll probably do a LATTE good with it — like reading with Coleman Elementary kindergarteners to get ready for Coffee for a Cure. On Wednesday, Katie Chamberlin’s class was surprised by Kansas City Chiefs mascot KC Wolf for a reading of “If You Give a Wolf a Cookie,” a twist on the beloved children’s book. As a breast cancer survivor, Katie’s passionate about the event and its mission to support breast cancer survivors. Coffee for a Cure is Friday, October 18, 5 a.m. – 7:30 p.m. at The Human Bean, 4414 Commons Drive. KC Wolf will be there from 3:30 – 4:30 p.m. Stop by for a photo or a high-five.

This week, Mosaic received a special donation of hand decorated onesies for premature babies in our NICU. Our local Tri Sigma sorority at Missouri Western State University supports the March of Dimes as one of their philanthropic efforts, and as part of that, they chose Mosaic to make this thoughtful donation. Thank you to the Tri Sigma chapter at Missouri Western for this kind act for our youngest patients!
