MDI Hospital President & CEO, Chrissi Maguire named as new Maine Hospital Association (MHA) Board Chair Christina “Chrissi” Maguire, BS/BA, MHA, chief executive officer and president of Mount Desert Island Hospital, was installed as chair of the Maine Hospital Association Board of Directors on Wednesday night at the Association’s Summer Forum held at the Samoset Resort in Rockport. Maguire has worked at MDI Hospital for 13 years and has served as its president and CEO since 2021. Maguire’s background is in finance, accounting, project management and strategic planning. The new board officially assumes its duties July 1. This week is hospital week! Join us in celebrating our incredible hospital and health center staff who work together to provide critical access to quality care to our communities. No matter what area they work in, everyone at MDI Hospital is a part of a team that works together. Our doctors, nurses, and clinical staff couldn't provide a high level of care without our nutrition services, security, engineering, and environmental staff. Our administrators couldn't perform their roles without input and guidance from our medical teams and frontline staff. It takes a lot of diverse people and roles to make a hospital function day in and day out, and we are appreciative for every member of our team.
