We’re buzzing with energy at TAMIU for Vote Early Day! 🚐 🌞Kicking off at 8 a.m., MOVE Texas and MOVE TAMIU organized shuttles to help students vote early after TAMIU removed its polling location—a decision that left many students and staff without the time or transportation to cast their ballots. Despite gathering 300 signatures requesting the location’s return, no action was taken. 📣But we didn’t back down. Today, we turned TAMIU into a celebration of civic engagement with music, activities, and a community-wide press conference that amplified student voices. We promoted our shuttles to students heading to class, showing that young people are both the moment and the movement. Today, we chose unity, joy, and resilience, proving that nothing will stop us from showing up and voting.

💛Today is Vote Early Day! Our MOVE Texas team is out there, showing up, taking action, and making change happen. From packed lines of people casting their ballots to our dedicated staff at the tables helping folks register, we’re all in for this moment. 🔥As an emerging generation, we don’t just care about the election—we care about our communities, our future, and a world where everyone is protected and embraced. Each vote today is a step towards that vision, towards a Texas we believe in. Cast your vote, because this one’s for all of us.
