In honor of National Multicultural Donor Awareness Month, we're sharing Adrienne Brown's inspiring journey. A devoted wife, mother, and IT professional, Adrienne faced a breast cancer diagnosis in 2019. With strength and resilience, she underwent chemotherapy, a mastectomy, and reconstructive surgery using donated skin grafts. Now, she lives her best life in gratitude to her donor. "Breast cancer warriors need to know they can still look great after a mastectomy," Adrienne says. Inspired by her experience, she's now a registered donor.
