We help accelerate the development, deployment and adoption of technologies that support UAS and Advanced Air Mobility (AAM). MUASC has been a partner to the NUAIR Alliance, which was established to manage operations at the FAA UAS Test Site test at Griffiss International Airport, New York from 2012-2023. NYUASTS is one of 7 FAA designated test sites in the U.S.A. NUAIR led the first FAA approved 50 mile UAS BVLOS corridor in the U.S. and continues today with 240 miles of BVLOS approval and more. NUAIR welcomes organizations to visit the Center of Excellence at Syracuse Airport in NY. We are proud of the coalition of private and public entities working across state lines in support of the industry. Let us help you build a team, find funding and fly in Michigan, New York or beyond. October 22, 2024 A New Rule, FAA is Ready for Air Travel of the Future FAA Press Release: https://lnkd.in/g7-yFEYG Read FAA Final Rule: https://lnkd.in/gvYArvKS https://lnkd.in/gr_CGzNX
A little over a year ago we brought Federal Aviation Administration pilots in to train and pilot ALIA. Today, we applaud the FAA for their timely delivery of a safe path forward for pilot certification and operations of powered lift aircraft. It’s an important and encouraging step for the industry. We look forward to reviewing it in depth and working alongside our customers to operationalize it.

Friday Pilot humor, thanks for making us laugh Jessica. https://lnkd.in/gArHmk_2
When you prefer not to directly say you’re a pilot, you drop subtle hints instead. Q: What happens to a bad airplane joke? A: It never lands. Have a good evening everyone 🫡 J-Rutt Out P.S. I'm a pilot. 😉 You can visit Level Up here https://lnkd.in/etMJzWPC

Grounded Ambitions: Lilium's Rescue Bid Denied by German Government The German government has declined a bailout request from the air taxi startup Lilium, rejecting a credit guarantee that could have provided crucial financial support. The decision raises concerns about the company's future as it faces financial challenges in bringing its electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) vehicles to market. Despite its innovative technology and ambitious goals, Lilium is now exploring alternative funding options. #Lilium #Startup #Aviation #eVTOL #Innovation #Funding #Germany

Technology at work and changing how we do things, live from NY. https://lnkd.in/gdyXwMeY
I'm sitting in my office in Maryland watching my team perform bridge inspections LIVE in New York 👀 Can't help but stop and pause at how amazing the technology we have is. Imagine being able to not only leverage the expertise of nearly any inspector in the country without bringing them to the field, but also being able to capture this level of detail all while keeping your team safely on the ground (or behind a desk)! #infrastructure #droneinspections #UAS #commercialdrones NUAIR

This week we gathered with our Northwestern Michigan College supporters for our Aviation Hangar Expansion Groundbreaking. Not only will it allow us to reduce our two-year waiting list for the program and get our students soaring sooner, it will also contribute to our region's prosperity.

So much to learn as we scale to/with modern technologies. https://lnkd.in/gqis2WfY
SpaceX says they will produce 1000 Starships a year. How will they do this? They will run the below “algorithm”. If you are running a production system and you aren’t doing this, there’s a good chance you aren’t producing enough and/or you are producing at a loss. Both will lead to failure. If you are on the requirements side of this, you have a role to play too. Focus on the first two steps.

Not something you see everyday, thanks for sharing Brandon. https://lnkd.in/gMK-vysC
Have you ever seen a terminal building crossing the runway??? This month at LAX, we are moving the newly built MSC south concourse into place south of the TBIT West gates. There are 9 total segments to be relocated, and although this was the 3rd move, this is segment #7. With each move, the teams coordinating with LAWA Airport Operations to make this happen run smoother and smoother. Once our runways are closed, steel plates are placed across the Argo Ditch crossing to support the weight of these huge @mammoetglobal transporters and buildings. The move crosses both north runways at Twy Z and then proceeds west on Twy E to Twy L until it is put in its final resting place. As you can see, all precautions are taken into account with operators continually monitoring the move for abnormalities, FOD walk teams following the transporters and sweepers for debris that may be missed. The transport is led and followed by LAWA Airside Operators to close and open taxiways as we go. #lax #laxairport #flylaxairport #laxairportoperarions #mscsouth #airside #airsideops #airsideoperations #airsidelife #airfield #airfieldops #airfieldoperations #airport #runway #nexttorunway
