New AARO Director Appointed! The Pentagon has announced Jon Kosloski, a leading NSA expert in quantum optics, as the new permanent director of the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO). Kosloski, who previously held key positions in NSA's Research Directorate, will now lead the DOD’s efforts in investigating unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP). He will oversee the production of the second volume of congressionally mandated reports detailing AARO’s caseload of UAP incidents. In his new role, Kosloski will coordinate with the Intelligence Community to advance the detection, identification, and mitigation of UAPs. The Val Johnson Incident: A 1979 UFO Encounter The case of Val Johnson is a notable UFO encounter involving Marshall County, Minnesota Deputy Sheriff Val Johnson. On the 27th of August 1979, while on patrol near Stephen, Johnson reported encountering a mysterious beam of light that enveloped his police car. He reported that he lost consciousness for 39 minutes, during which his wristwatch and vehicle’s clocks had stopped for 14 minutes. Upon regaining consciousness, he found his squad car damaged, including a shattered windshield and bent radio aerial. Johnson experienced bruises and eye irritation like “welder’s burns” (eye injuries caused by exposure to UV light that led to pain and temporary loss of vision). Luis Elizondo, a former Department of Defense (DoD) official who resigned to go public, has recently made a huge revelation. Elizondo claims that the U.S. has recovered nonhuman biological specimens and advanced spacecraft. He told NewsNation’s Ross Coulthart that the U.S. government recovered one of two unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP) during Roswell 1947. He stated, “The United States has been involved in the recovery of objects, vehicles of unknown origin... We’re not alone in this universe, and it is a simple fact.” Supporters of Elizondo believe his involvement in the UAP program at the Pentagon is well-documented, citing a letter from former Assistant Deputy Secretary of Defense Chris Mellon to Senator Harry Reid and internal DoD emails that allegedly confirm Elizondo’s role in the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP).
