Recently, our own Lauren Francis joined Meredith Collett, American Heart Association of Oregon Executive Director, at the incredible Oregon and SW Washington Go Red for Women event that celebrated the power of women banding together and joining together on the mission to champion better health and wellbeing for women and making sure no woman has to face health issues alone. Every part of the event was inspiring, from sharing a table with Mia Villanueva, Dr. Carol Parker Walsh, JD, PhD, ACC, Misty Marquam, DeEtte Kapustka, CPA, and Michelle Weisenbach, to hearing the powerful keynote given by Donna Milavetz MD, MPH, FACP, and seeing so many other familiar faces like Karen Matsuoka, Sheena Hacke, Cheryl Collins, and Brittany Cano.
