"Build what people want" - Gentry Davies with Crew Is "Utah-nice" expanding outside of just Utah? Get real feedback with your startup, that will help you be successful instead of relying on feel-good support. Crew is solving a banking problem: Parenting is complex and financial lessons are often the trickiest to teach. Crew is a dedicated family banking and credit service. It simplifies financial management for parents and teaches children essential money skills, reducing stress and enabling families to focus more on quality time.

Are you convinced of your product enough to put it into action on yourself? - Alena Butkevica, MD., DMD., Ph.D. with AB BIOINNOVATIONS INC Alena took on the tough call to test and compare the results ... on herself! A lot of founders miss the chance to put their product into action to see if they would get the results they are hoping for. Assumptions lead nowhere, quick. #lifescience founders be sure to attend BioUtah mixer and conference on March 13th 2024: https://lnkd.in/gVAwF73n

"Do you have an appointment with yourself?" - Tim He with Arc Security Setting time on the calendar for yourself should be treated like any other appointment. I find I'm the culprit to the calendar and letting other things distract me. Or treating the focus meeting with myself like it's not that important. Boundaries with you and others and help change that into productive time. #cofounder #timemanagement #organization 📕 Co-founders need to read Tim's book! https://lnkd.in/ggNtbhCB -------- #lifescience founders be sure to attend the BioUtah mixer and conference on March 13th, 2024: https://lnkd.in/gVAwF73n

"It's because I was looking for more ..." - André Stone with Panyon A driving factor to success, from the conversation I had with Andre, was taking a risk. The more he got involved because he asked to be involved the more he discovered solutions! I consider it the red car effect, also known as the #Baader–Meinhof phenomenon. That is, it's the frequency illusion or recency illusion. So if you're looking to buy a red car, you will in turn see more red cars on the road because you are focused on that thing. #lifescience founders be sure to attend BioUtah mixer and conference on March 13th 2024: https://lnkd.in/gVAwF73n

Long-term view, people! - Gentry Davies with Crew Instant gratification is all too easy to chase after. Take after Gentry and his advice to look at long-term over short-term solutions. "Don't take our word for it" - Reading Rainbow And by that I mean, check out what the options are before a quick fix is looked at as the only option.

"We see some amazing images and even more impressive projects" - Russ Teichert, MBA, PhD with Scintillant Bioscience The things Russ and his team do for his clients are insane. You can tell they care about something as simple as the images they produce. This clip only shows one image but if you get a chance check out his other projects that he's captured. They often resemble a galaxy. On that same note, I had a chance to connect with Atim Atte Enyenihi, Ph.D. at Recursion, and heard that they often play the game, "What's under the microscope?" Impressed with how Russ and his team are helping early-stage drug discovery. Especially, as they may not have the bandwidth or advanced equipment to get the testing life science companies need. He'll be at the BioUtah conference in mid-March 2024! https://lnkd.in/gVAwF73n
