Four Seasons Produce partnered with MVE Group to install an additional 1.73 Megawatts of solar power, adding to their existing 1.35 megawatt PV system. Four Seasons is now set up to produce more than 3 megawatts of renewable solar energy, utilizing more than 7000 solar panels combined between the existing and new PV systems. We are excited to announce that Edward “Ted” Gallagher has joined MVE Group as Vice President of Solar. Ted attended Penn State University and brings an impressive track record of leadership and growth. He previously led his family's business, EHC Associates, where he grew the company before he sold it to Penn Spring Capital. Following this, Ted joined CCS Building Group as Director of Development, where he cultivated strong relationships with clients and guided projects from concept to completion. In addition to his professional achievements, Ted is an active leader in the community, serving on the East Lampeter Township Board of Supervisors, the Lancaster County Hazmat Team Board, and the Lancaster City Police Foundation. He is also involved with several organizations, including The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Masonic Lodge 43, and the Lancaster Chamber of Commerce. When he’s not working, Ted enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons, attending their soccer games, and boating. After our quarterly meeting on Thursday, MVE Group and ESCO Security Inc enjoyed a relaxing evening at our local community park. At the conclusion of our meeting, a catered dinner was provided, homemade desserts, an ice-cold lemonade stand, games, challenges, and more for all to enjoy. Our wellness committee challenged willing individuals to see how long they could hold metal conduit elbows. The winners of the men's and women's competitions each won a $50 gift card. They also provided information for our hydration challenge and electrolyte packets to encourage us to stay hydrated on these hot and humid days. In addition to the challenge, several cornhole games were set up, as well as a nice disc course provided by the park. Our safety committee was also set up to distribute jackets to celebrate working 365 days without an injury or loss time accident. This was a significant milestone and proof that our team is committed to working safely no matter what it takes. Thank you to all those who could come out and enjoy a nice evening in the park.
