The MyPlace team is thrilled to announce the groundbreaking of our first construction project, an exciting new facility in Mount Dora, Florida. This impressive 40,000-square-foot, climate-controlled facility will feature a customer-centric, state-of-the-art office, along with top-of-the-line video surveillance and secure access control systems. Our creative facade and meticulously planned landscaping reflect our commitment to blending functionality with stunning aesthetics. We can't wait to bring this exceptional facility to life for the Mount Dora community! This project, spearheaded by our VP of Development, Albert G. Morales, has been made possible with the invaluable support of our builder, Farmer Development, Inc., our investment partners, Nuveen, a TIAA company, and the Mount Dora Area Chamber of Commerce. June 19th echoes the fight for freedom. For decades, descendants have celebrated these heroes, honoring their grace, love, and commitment to freedom for future generations. We thank you for your perseverance and love for others.

At MyPlace Self Storage, communication is the foundation of any successful team. However, what happens when verbal communication is not an option, leaving only gestures, nods, and intuitive understanding to guide a team through challenges? To explore this idea further, the MyPlace Learning and Development team created an innovative training game called the "MyPlace Maze." This game was designed to test our team's collaboration and communication skills. As they began the maze, it became clear that teamwork, focus, and a willingness to try new methods were the keys to success. Some team members assumed leadership roles, while others offered significant support by deciphering signals and providing guidance. At every dead end, the team members experienced frustration but embraced creativity, finding innovative ways to communicate complex ideas with simple gestures. Above all, they learned the importance of patience, active listening, and group success, which are invaluable skills for navigating a maze and working with a team. Throughout the game, the team developed a deeper understanding of each other's strengths and fostered a sense of camaraderie that would undoubtedly lead to more effective collaboration.

March 22nd marks World Water Day, an annual event dedicated to raising awareness about the importance of sustainable water management and addressing water-related challenges worldwide.   Water is essential for life, yet millions still lack access to clean and safe water.
