On this day in Women's History Month, NAAAHR Chicago would like to introduce you to Jennifer Perkins, someone you should know. Jennifer Perkins is the Chief Diversity Officer at Medline Industries, LP (a privately held manufacturer and distributor of healthcare supplies). She is responsible for Medline’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion strategy. Before this role, she was responsible for international human resources, including Latin America, Europe, Canada, Australia, and Japan. Jennifer has over 30 years of progressive experience in Human Resources. She started her career at 3M Company as a Compensation Analyst and then went to General Mills as an HR Manager, focusing on employee relations, performance management, and employee development. She later went to Ecolab, where she was an HR Director supporting Global Research, Development, and Engineering, including research centers in Germany, Japan, and Thailand. Jennifer was recently a Senior Director of Human Resources for Latin America at SC Johnson. The Latin America region was consistently recognized as a Great Place To Work during her tenure. Later, she led HR for SC Johnson’s North America Supply Chain, which included manufacturing plants and distribution facilities in the US and Canada. She earned her Bachelor’s in Human Development from Northwestern University and an MBA from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business.
