“Black communities in the United States are particularly exposed and vulnerable to the impacts of climate change, which can exacerbate already existing racial gaps,” according to a study by the McKinsey Institute for Black Economic Mobility and McKinsey’s Sustainability Practice. The time is now to help close the gap. Please donate to the NAAIA Foundation on our website, denoting “Community Redevelopment” to target disaster relief. https://lnkd.in/gJYjz92N #hurricanemilton #disasterrelief #philantrophy

Last month, at the conclusion of the 2024 NAAIA National Conference in New Orleans, the NAAIA Foundation's Board of Directors met in-person to concurrenly hold a Board Retreat and their September Board Meeting. The two-day event was wonderfully facilitated by Gabrielle Gunn (Senior Consultant) and Daniella Barton (Associate Consultant) of Evan James Consulting. Board memebers strategically planned and discussed several topics, including building community and colloboration, defining roles, and reviewing progress made on several initiatives. We are fueling a radically inclusive future! #inclusion #naaiafoundation #scholarship #ownership

Have you met our new Director of Social Impact? Ethan Zagore comes to NAAIA Foundation with a dual focus of elevating the Foundation’s brand nationally among charitable organizations and significantly increasing funding opportunities in order to support the Foundation’s charitable mission. Ethan believes that a collective approach is necessary to move the Foundation forward.
