The Architectural Glass and Metal Certification Council (AGMCC) which sponsors and coordinates the #NACC and AGMT Glazier Certification programs, has entered into exploratory talks to identify collaboration opportunities with the National Glass Association (NGA), provider of glass industry resources such as MyGlassClass.com, technical manuals, and industry events. The move comes after AGMT successfully hosted its first testing event on the exhibit floor during NGA’s GlassBuild America 2024 trade show. Thank you to all of the organizers and 500+ attendees of this week's Advancing Construction Quality Conference in Phoenix, which included yesterday’s panel discussion on “Improving Building Enclosure Outcomes Through Strengthened Glazing Subcontractor Process Controls.” Panelists Jeff LaRue of HKS, Inc., Thilo Wilhelmsen of DPR Construction, Bryan Heake of (CDC) Curtainwall Design and Consulting, Inc., and Jeff Dalaba of the #NACC and AGMT Glazier Certification programs discussed how certifications like NACC and #AGMT improve the quality of building envelope projects.
