NAESCO is dedicated to modernizing America's public building infrastructure through performance contracting.
About us
Founded in 1983, the National Association of Energy Service Companies (NAESCO) is the preeminent national trade organization of the Energy Service Company (ESCO) industry and the providers that are part of the vertical delivery chain. Our member companies include business units of major industrial corporations, utility affiliates, independent national firms as well as regional specialty companies and together they cumulatively deliver about $7 billion of privately-financed energy efficiency investments annually to customers across the country. Projects are primarily delivered through Energy Savings Performance Contracts (ESPC), the type of public-private partnerships with the longest track record in the US. ESPC projects re-purpose the money currently spent by public and private sector customers on wasted energy and the maintenance of obsolete equipment into a payment stream that finances badly needed capital improvements without the need for a direct allocation of new capital or new taxes. ESPC projects enjoy strong bi-partisan support, because they use private investment to deliver public benefits. During the past twenty years, projects developed and delivered through NAESCO member companies nationally have produced: • $50 billion in projects paid from savings • $55 billion in savings – guaranteed and verified • 400,000 person-years of direct employment • $35 billion of infrastructure improvements in public facilities • 450 million tons of CO2 savings at no additional cost

NAESCO Executive Director Dr. Timothy Unruh will be moderating "Maximizing Impact: Leveraging Energy Savings Performance Contracts for Sustainable Upgrades" at the P3 Electrified Summit on September 18th at 11:30 am PT in San Diego, CA. The session will explore how adding extra funding sources—such as existing capital, rebates, grants, or tax credits—to energy savings performance contracts can increase project investment. This approach enables the inclusion of longer-payback measures, allowing public entities to afford upgrades like electrification (e.g., heat pumps, electric boilers, renewable energy, building envelope improvements, etc.) Panelists include: Alicia Bender, Senior Account Executive, Southland Industries Country Bonas, Energy Savings Project Director, Office of Sustainability, California Department of General Services Jacob Jasperson, Senior Advisor, Utility Metering Solutions https://lnkd.in/ggvcBFc7

Windows are the weakest part of the building envelope for heat gain and heat loss, and they are often not addressed due to various reasons. Join us on Monday, September 23rd at 2 pm ET to learn how the latest technologies in window film focus on window enhancement instead of window replacements, at a fraction of the cost of window replacement. Harry Rahman of XPEL will lead an engaging discussion about how window films can optimize energy conservation and improve building efficiency. Register today! https://lnkd.in/gC2yRpH6
