Updates

  • After serving the communities of Boxborough, Acton, Maynard, Stow, Carlisle, and Concord since 1980, the Middlesex West Chamber of Commerce (MWCoC) has made the difficult decision to close its doors. It has been an incredible journey, and we are grateful for the support and collaboration we've shared over the years. The MWCoC's Board of Directors, in partnership with the Nashoba Valley Chamber of Commerce (NVCoC), is working hard to ensure a smooth transition for MWCoC's long-time members, helping them integrate into the wider business community. Thank you to all who have been part of this vibrant Chamber and have contributed to the growth of our local businesses. While this chapter is closing, the connections, relationships, and impact we've built together will continue to thrive. #MWCoC #BusinessCommunity #LocalSupport #NashobaValleyChamber #nvcoc

  • Thank you to all who participated in the Nashoba Valley Chamber’s (Melissa Fetterhoff, IOM/Deborah seeley) Annual Lagers with the Legislators at Gervais Ford on Wednesday October 9, 2024. Politics is crucial to business because it shapes regulation, taxes, trade policies, economic conditions - all directly impact profitability and operations for your businesses and this event is a unique opportunity to meet with elected legislators and candidates in a relaxed and informal setting. Attendees had the opportunity to discuss the issues that matter most to them, share perspectives, and gain valuable insights into the policies that may impact our community.  Attendees also voted for candidates and on the ballot questions (see ballot results image!).  Special thanks to our Public Policy Series Sponsor, Mount Wachusett Community College, and our Corporate Sponsor and Host, Gervais Ford (John Gervais/Mike Gervais), for their generous support. Much appreciation to Jack O'Lantern Wine & Spirits for bringing the "Lagers" (and other delicious beverages).  We are appreciative to our area Legislators and Candidates that were able to join us at this event and look forward to future partnerships to keep our communities and businesses moving forward! (Senator John Cronin, Senator Jamie Eldridge, Representative Dan Sena, Candidate Nicholas Pirro, Candidate Salvatore Perla Jr., Candidate Lynne Archambault, Ayer Town Manager Robert Pontbriand)

  • Special thanks to State Auditor Diana DiZoglio for speaking with the members of the Nashoba Valley Chamber on Tuesday October 1st at our Breakfast with the Boss (Sponsored by Fidelity Cooperative Bank). The Auditor motivated folks with her story of overcoming challenges and fighting for what is right. Attendees had the opportunity to learn about the amazing work the Massachusetts State Auditor's Office does, ensuring transparency and accountability in the Commonwealth through independent audits to identify waste, fraud, and inefficiencies, helping to improve public services and safeguard taxpayer dollars. Bonus - the Auditor and Chamber recognized three amazing businesses for their contributions to our communities - Maedon Coburn of Appleseed Personnel Services 40th Anniversary, Ceric Fabrication 40th Anniversary, and BLW Engineers 25th Anniversary.

  • Congratulations are in order... Chamber President, Melissa Fetterhoff, IOM, was super excited to attend the Ground Breaking at NASHOBA VALLEY REGIONAL VOCATIONAL TECHNICAL SCHOOL DISTRICT on Friday April 12th on a 7,000-square-foot addition. The major expansion and modernization project for the regional vocational school is going forward thanks to three state grants totaling $6.75 million. Superintendent Denise Pigeon said the new wing is the highlight of the project and will allow the school to increase enrollment among district students, with prospective students currently facing a wait list and enrollment increases seen for the foreseeable future. State Senator Jamie Eldridge Robert Flynn
