The National Comprehensive Cancer Network® (NCCN®) believes the best management of any patient with cancer is a clinical trial, but the idea of enrolling in a clinical trial may seem daunting. In this video, hear why Julio Piña, a patient with anaplastic ependymoma, and his wife Liz enrolled in a trial and what the process looked like. We are pleased to share that the Commonwealth of Virginia General Assembly formally commended Jyothi Raghavan for her legacy of service as a patient advocate. Earlier this year, NBTS named Jyothi as a 2024 Advocate Champion Award recipient for her advocacy efforts on Capitol Hill in honor of her son, a pediatric #medulloblastoma brain tumor survivor, and in memory of her brother who passed away from #glioblastoma. In this video, Jyothi shares her family’s story and why raising awareness for the pediatric brain tumor community matters during #CCAM and beyond. Congratulations, Jyothi, on your well-deserved honor! #ChildhoodCancerAwarenessMonth
