National Business Aviation Association reposted this
I spent the beginning of this week at Western Michigan University College of Aviation talking about one of my favorite topics- college aviation mental health! We were able to bring in some industry professionals from across aviation for our "Beyond the Cockpit: Mental Health Best Practices in the Aviation Industry" panel which included: Mark Larsen- NBAA's Director of Safety, Captain Rondeau Flynn- CAPA's Aeromedical Chairman, Jeff Horan- NJASAP's Health and Wellness Committee, and Andy Richards- Duncan Aviation – Michigan's Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. All of the sessions and the incredible keynote were recorded, so stay tuned for more information on how to watch!

#HurricaneMilton has weakened to a Category 1 storm as it passes through Central Florida, with its center recently moving past Orlando. While the storm will push offshore in the coming hours, gusty winds are still impacting major hubs in Central and South Florida. However, many Gulf and inland routes are expected to become available soon, and conditions on the eastern side of the state should improve by late morning or early afternoon.
