University of Charleston has launched West Virginia's second Fitness Court, championing health and wellness for everyone. U.S. Senator Joe Manchin, III joined the opening event, participating in student-led demonstrations and sharing his excitement for the new wellness hub on campus. The new Fitness Court, located along the Kanawha River, aims to enhance fitness opportunities for the University of Charleston Athletics and the Charleston community. "This Fitness Court is a fantastic addition to promoting healthier lifestyles," said Manchin. The Borough of Ambridge, PA officials celebrated the grand opening of their brand new Fitness Court® at Henning Park last month, marking a significant step in the community’s wellness initiative. The launch event, attended by local leaders and residents, highlighted the importance of accessible fitness options. Borough Manager Mario Leone Jr emphasized the outdoor gym's role in promoting healthy living and attracting families to the area. Patton Township, Centre County, Pennsylvania celebrated their Phase II upgrades to Bernel Road Park and it's looking better than ever 🏋️♀️🌳 Their state-of-the-art outdoor Fitness Court is kept company by two dirt pump tracks for bikes, in addition to its existing amenities like pickleball, tennis, disc golf, a large playground, and ample walking trails.
