One way we keep this commitment is through the continuous expansion of our provider network. Over the past three years, we have added more than 7,000 mental health providers, including 1,800 this year alone. In observance of this year’s World Mental Health Day, we’re pleased to announce two more mental health providers, Backpack Healthcare and FOLX Health, to our network – creating more access to behavioral health support through virtual visits. https://shorturl.at/jGuh4

For years, Priority Health has partnered with Corewell Health and other physician networks to create alternative payment models, or APMs. Also known as value-based care, these APMs reward doctors who focus on keeping their patients healthy beyond treating the illness at hand. This approach can help patients avoid serious illness, while also reducing costs for everyone. "Oftentimes, people who are uninsured don’t consider getting care and conditions go unchecked and get worse.” said Praveen Thadani, president/CEO of Priority Health. In an effort to improve access to care and take steps to achieving health equity, we are partnering with Curai Health to offer free virtual visits to Michigan residents 18 and older who are without health coverage. The free virtual visits will be available until December 31, 2024. Visits can be used for things like wellness planning, condition management and preventive care, among other conditions.
