This project in Nottingham is for our valued customer MWH Treatment where they are constructing a new large scale treatment plant to support existing water supplies on behalf of Severn Trent. Arthur Civil Engineering are engaged on the project to install all process pipework up to 5m deep and 1200mm diameter including the connections to existing structures. Great job by our crews installing the 120" Fire Tank System at the NGMC Braselton ED Project. This system stores over 30,000 gallons. Due to existing utilities and site constraints a slide rail system was required. Thanks to National Trench Safety for providing this system. Yes, we collaborated in deploying the world's largest pipe plug! Our Orlando team worked alongside Comprehensive Energy Services, Inc., GPH Services, and Universal Orlando Resort in Universal's upcoming theme park scheduled to open in 2025. The challenge involved replacing 18 chiller line valves located 25 feet underground in Universal Studios' new parking lot. NTS supplied and rented the essential pipe plug that blocked the storm drain, allowing the valve service to be completed. Our Account Manager, Timothy Kelce, did an excellent job managing this unprecedented underground task. “The 18 valves to be replaced were located 18-25 feet deep, so the crew required shoring with sheeting frames to access them,” Kelce explains. We are proud of our Orlando team for being so efficient assisting our valuable partners and customer with remarkable safety solutions. Congrats to all involved for this extraordinary achievement!
