Meet our Undergraduate Student of the Month, Kaden Sangray, from the Little Shell Tribe of Chippewa Indians. Kaden is a Grand Canyon University senior pursuing a degree in Biology with a Pre-Med emphasis. His passion for medicine is evident through his volunteer work in anatomy labs, medical mission trips, and leadership roles on campus. We are excited to continue our long-standing partnership, which has awarded Native Forward approximately $1M since 2008. The San Manuel Band of Mission Indians (SMBMI) has awarded over $12.6M in grants, with 50% focused on supporting Native communities. These grants are part of SMBMI’s commitment to preserving cultural heritage and empowering Tribal nations.
