Sustainability is part of our mission. Food waste is a growing problem, and we're working to change that. We buy and sell perfectly good food that otherwise would be bound for the landfill. And what we can't sell often gets donated to local food pantries or recycled into feed for livestock or other products. Because of this, we were included in Fox 17's recent news segment about how Michiganders can help fight food waste.
