The business world can’t move forward without more clean, reliable power. That was a big takeaway from this year’s VERGE conference, where Navisun VP of business development John Stroud met with corporate sustainability leaders and fellow clean energy experts. As more data centers and other high-demand facilities come online, supplying additional emission-free energy to the grid is a must — and something that’s becoming a key factor in deciding where these facilities should be built. Independent power producers like Navisun can play a part in helping businesses grow by providing this additional clean, affordable energy. We’re excited to work more closely with the business community so corporates can achieve their growth goals sustainably.

Earlier this month in Colorado, $4.7 million worth of #agrivoltaics opened at the Denver Botanic Gardens' Chatfield location, Michael Booth reports for The Colorado Sun. The publicly-funded project will produce 30,000 pounds of vegetables every year, which will be freely distributed at community centers around Denver. All electricity generated by the project will go to Xcel Energy to credit monthly electricity bills of 150 income-qualified families around the city. Navisun applauds the new project's commitment to expanding equitable access to clean energy and healthy food. As owner-operators and agrivoltaic developers ourselves, we know that projects like this can help fortify local #farming economies, reduce hunger, and support the #cleanenergy transition.

It's been a week since RE+ and we're still reflecting on what was an incredibly productive conference. Our CEO Jason Spreyer says it best: "Our main goal going into RE+ was to expand partnerships to support our expanding self-development department, grow our network with equipment suppliers and contractors, identify partners to support our growing operating portfolio, and to connect with our colleagues in the solar industry. With 40,000+ attendees at the event we were able to accomplish that goal. The energy around Anaheim showcasing these capabilities, including domestic content, contractor engagement, asset management software, and land origination, to name a few, was palpable, and it was motivating to meet so many organizations seeking to make a difference with Navisun. An added highlight was the discussions around the IRA and the evolving and expanding tax transfer market, which our VP of Finance and Administration, Lindsey Boyer, CPA, MBA, will be diving into more in Houston next week and in New York City at the end of October." For those we missed at the conference, we’d love to connect. Please reach out at management@navisunllc.com. #REPlus #CleanEnergy #InlfationReductionAct
