NCCEH upholds human dignity by pursuing justice and engaging in innovative partnerships to end homelessness in NC.

About us

The Coalition sprang out from the growing need for advocacy for homeless citizens and the organizations that serve them. NCCEH is a statewide membership association of activists and organizations committed to better meeting the needs of homeless citizens through targeted advocacy and increased public awareness. We are currently working to end homelessness by: - Advocating for policy change and adequate funding at the local, state, and federal levels. - Building provider capacity through training, education, and technical assistance based on data and results-based best practices. - Providing and analyzing research and data from the NC Homeless Management Information System (HMIS). - Assisting caseworkers in obtaining income and health insurance for their clients through our NC SOAR (SSI/SSDI Outreach, Access, and Recovery) Initiative. - Cultivating leaders, champions, and advocates to bring about systems change to prevent homelessness and to improve the current homeless services system for those who do become homeless.
