“There’s so many families, not just students and employees, but community members that have lost their homes and lost everything,” Brian S. Merritt said. “This conference, these 1600 people coming together, this is really going to be symbolic of an effort that is just going to begin this weekend.” Two community colleges — Fayetteville Technical Community College and Robeson Community College — will provide tractor-trailers to deliver the supplies. [DONATION DRIVE] 📦🥫 The donation drive will take place the first two days of the conference on October 13 and October 14 at the Raleigh Convention Center, where attendees are encouraged to bring much-needed supplies to support those affected. 🧷🪥 Donations can be dropped off at the registration desk or at two large trucks located in the Exhibit Hall on the Convention Center’s lower level. These trucks, generously provided by Fayetteville Technical Community College and Robeson Community College will be used to transport the donations to impacted areas. 👉 Read more: https://lnkd.in/euG7gDx4
