In a world where digital equity is increasingly crucial, Native nations are empowering their communities with digital access and skills, leading to accessing more opportunities and increased connectivity. To help kick off #NativeAmericanHeritageMonth, check out our latest blog post about how Kendall Lee-Daughtery (Cherokee), a dedicated Digital Navigator located on the Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma, is bridging the digital divide by bringing essential tech skills to every corner of the reservation: https://bit.ly/NDNCblog1. Kendall is a member of NDIA's National Digital Navigator Corps, which established 18 digital navigator programs in rural communities. Seven of these programs, which were made possible through a partnership between NDIA and AMERIND Critical Infrastructure, are based in Native American/Alaska Native communities. #CherokeeNation #DigitalNavigator
