Today's the day... it's officially Colorado Gives Day! Your support of Aging Resources on this statewide day of giving helps ensure we're able to provide the services needed to help older adults age independently and in place! Things like transportation, help at home, companion programming, and resource navigation are just a few of the ways we're able to help older adults remain in their homes and stay independent. As a non-profit, our services are free to those in need, but we need your help to keep it that way! If you can donate to Aging Resources today, we'd be so grateful. Oftentimes things like shoveling snow, raking leaves, or trimming bushes can be overwhelming tasks for older adults. Keeping up with these things is hard if you have mobility issues! Our Chore Program can help make a big difference! From changing out a light bulb to raking up fall leaves this program provides that extra hand so seniors can feel good about their homes. Colorado Gives Day is almost here! This statewide day of giving across Colorado is a wonderful way to support local non-profits, like Aging Resources! A donation of $50 to Aging Resources helps provide an older adult with wrap-around support for an entire month. Wrap-around help includes weekly meal delivery (3 tailored meals, breakfast, and fruit), access to ARDC help-in-the-home services, reassurance calls, and an in-person emotional support check. These wrap-around services help older adults age independently and in their own homes... something most of us want to do!
