In the recent case of 𝘊𝘩𝘦𝘱𝘪𝘭𝘬𝘰 𝘷. 𝘏𝘦𝘯𝘳𝘺, Magistrate Judge Stewart D. Aaron emphasized the importance of preserving 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗮 𝗳𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲 when litigation is 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝘆 anticipated. Failure to maintain such evidence can lead to Rule 37 consequences.  This ruling serves as a reminder for organizations to implement robust legal hold procedures, ensuring all potentially relevant information, including video recordings, is preserved to prevent evidence spoliation.
