About us

The Northeast Ohio Hispanic Center for Economic Development (NEOHCED) is committed to equitable asset building in Cleveland’s Latino community by providing economic and entrepreneurial technical assistance, training, and advocacy. NEOHCED is a host organization to the Small Business Development Centers program, the Northeast Ohio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and is the lead organization for the Community Development and placemaking initiative, La Villa Hispana. Our Small Business Development Center program provides, free Spanish-bilingual training and advising to entrepreneurs looking to start or grow a business. Our advisors provide general business consulting, and specialized advising opportunities to entrepreneurs in all stages of business. For close to 40 years, the Northeast Ohio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce has represented the Latino and non-Latino business community in Northeast Ohio. NEOHCC provides advocacy, connections, and networking opportunities to diverse suppliers and buyers. Our chamber actively promotes the economic growth, development, and interests of our membership portfolio and stakeholder alliances. The work NEOHCED leads in community and economic development is intentionally Latino centric, ensuring equitable investments and growth for La Villa Hispana and neighboring communities within Northeast Ohio.
