The goal of NCNE is to provide up to date, compassionate academic care for the community as well as provide the most up to date research for all neurology patients. Our team believes that all patients should be treated as if they were members of one’s own family and hopes to integrate both medical and non-medical treatments into the care of those with chronic neurologic illnesses.

Today is the feast day of Madonna Della Cava celebrated in a town in the center of Sicily called Pietraperzia . This feast day is also celebrated yearly in the North End of Boston. The Multiple Sclerosis Center of New England is proud to have been recognized by the National MS Society Greater New England Chapter as a Comprehensive Care Partner in innovative MS care. The MS Center is recognized for multiple sclerosis fellowship trained staff ; in house MS focused non-pharmaceutical treatment such as physical therapy and speech therapy ; spasticity clinic ; as well as comprehensive infusion therapy and research program .

The Neurology and Infusion Centers of New England are proud to collaborate with Xaverian Brothers High School to participate in the RISE Program: Ryken Internship Student Experience. This excellent program provides Xaverian students with a hands-on real-world experience in their field of interest. The R.I.S.E program is “a rigorous internship program that calls on students to be thoughtful and reflective as they grow both academically and as a young professional”. We are very happy to welcome Grady and Liam to our medical practice. We will be teaching them the many facets of neurology, experiencing our patient care approach and being involved in our multiple departments including clinical research, physical and speech therapy departments, infusion therapy care, as well as our EEG/Seizure department. They will learn about different disorders in neurology including Multiple Sclerosis, Alzheimer’s Disease, Migraine Headache, Parkinson’s Disease, Epilepsy and neuropathic and muscular disorders. Thank you to Dave Nelson and Christopher Vasta, Ed.D. for allowing us to participate in this excellent program with these outstanding young men.
