Exciting news! Thanks to the generous support of the Wexner Family and the efforts of The New Albany Company , 25 acres of land near State Route 161 and Johnstown Road have been donated to construct a 100,000 s.f. Nationwide Children's Hospital facility! The new medical center will feature a Close To Home Urgent Care, orthopedics, and additional pediatric services. City Council approved the rezoning of the land this evening to allow the project to move forward. 🐝 Today is World Honey Bee Day, a day buzzing with excitement for beekeepers, honey enthusiasts, and nature lovers. Among them is NAPD's Lt. New Albany Senior Connections programming soared to new heights today with a special visit from some feathered friends! The Ohio Bird Sanctuary provided an interactive and educational Birds of Prey presentation, allowing our seniors to learn fascinating facts about these majestic birds and even get up close to a few of them. With 25 years of experience in the construction industry, Derrick is joining us from the City of Columbus where he had been a building inspector since 2017. He began his career as a carpenter, progressing to a superintendent before becoming a building inspector.
