New Destiny’s mission is to end the cycle of domestic violence and homelessness for low-income families and individuals by developing and connecting them to safe, permanent, affordable housing and services. To achieve our mission, we build and manage supportive housing and through innovative programs we assist survivors in finding and retaining housing. New Destiny also advocates for additional housing resources for domestic violence survivor and their families.

Sandoval Requena, along with Survivor Voices Project participants Daniris E., Stephanie M., and Stephanie W., testified at a joint oversight hearing by the New York City Council Committees on General Welfare and Women & Gender Equity alongside Women In Need, Inc. (Win), Safe Horizon, Sisters in Purple, Urban Resource Institute, Volunteers of America-Greater New York, Citizens' Committee for Children of New York, and others.
