New Energy Institute is an organization dedicated to accelerating the energy transition, with a strong international focus. We do this by leveraging the expertise and knowledge built up in the energy sector over the past 12 years. We offer several key services: - Expert advice and consultancy - Educational programs, courses and workshops - Business Development and technology commercialization We specialize in offering expert advice, key insights and educational courses in topics relevant of the energy transition such as Hydrogen, Carbon Capture and Storage, Biogas, Biomethane, Energy Storage, Carbon Management and financial and geopolitical aspects of the energy transition. Currently we work with organizations like Impact Hydrogen, Globallinks South Africa, equip global Singapore, DIGITX New York, Berq NRG and Illuminum. Delivering expert advice, business development services, relevant course content and workshop moderation. The founder and managing director of New Energy Institute is Leon Stille. Leon has a background in energy sciences and pursuing a PhD on energy policy. From the start of his career he has focused on international conventional and renewable energy technology development, innovation and education. He has held commercial roles in several energy companies (Alliander and plug power) and is a frequent speaker, author and moderator at energy related events. Furthermore, he worked for the Netherlands Organisation for applied scientific research (TNO) as international business development manager dedicated to enabling and accelerating the energy transition. Leon was also general manager for the energy delta institute (energy business school). He holds three patents and several ancillary position as scientific advisor of the european biogas association, sustainability comittee member of the international gas union and top author of Illuminem.
