Thank you to everyone who joined us in welcoming our F-15C to our collection on Friday! A big thank you to our speakers Tami Zawistowski, Gary Jennings, Nick Graham, Josh Goodman, and Col. Michael Glass!
What a wonderful evening welcoming an F-15c to the amazing collection of aircraft at New England Air Museum! I'm honored to have been invited to make opening remarks before the impressive speaking program. The addition of this remarkable aircraft, powered by Pratt & Whitney F100 engines, is just one more good reason to visit this exciting museum! #cthouse61 #aviation #militaryaircraft #aviationhistory

The New England Air Museum is proud to announce the upcoming arrival of a F-15C Eagle from the 104th Fighter Wing from the Barnes Air National Guard Base, Westfield, Massachusetts. The F-15C, tail number 85-0101, will join the museum’s historic aircraft collection soon. The F-15C Eagle was the premier fourth generation air superiority fighter used by the United States Air Force since it entered service in 1976. With its two Pratt & Whitney F100-PW-220 engines, the Eagle can accelerate straight up with a thrust to weight ratio of 1.17 to 1. Across all engagements, the F-15 boasts a 104-0 record, and modified versions are still being used today. This F-15C Eagle served in Operation Desert Strom and is credited with taking down a MiG-25 Foxbat. Photo courtesy of Ken Middleton.
