Barbara Broaddus has been with New Hope for just over 11 years as our Community Liaison, as part of the Connections and Communications Department (formerly NRS). She has been responsible for our growth in serving youth from West Virginia. In that time, we have gone from a relatively unknown residential option for the state of West Virginia, to a provider of choice. This progress is in large part due to the quality of our services and equally to the quality of our relationships with key West Virginia leaders. In her 11 years with us, Barbara’s hard work and dedication to New Hope and the kids and families of WV has culminated in New Hope expanding services within the state. As New Hope recently announced the acquisition of our first piece of property and group home in West Virginia, Ms. Broaddus’s work in the state has been significant. Barbara’s work ethic is one of her superpowers. It can only be rivaled by her passion for kids and families, as well as her drive to help bridge the service gap for the youth in her home state of West Virginia.
