From ages 15 to 47, and from 13 different countries this remarkable group of players came together once again, embodying the true spirit of competition, diversity, teamwork, and lifelong friendships. United by the love of the game, they showed resilience and heart, overcoming every challenge to triumph at this year’s Michael Lipov Memorial Tournament, hosted by Chicago Inter HC, in Chicago. Congratulations to each player for their dedication and outstanding team performance! Once again this journey proves that handball isn’t just a sport; it’s a bond that bridges generations, bringing together those few who share a deep passion and commitment. New York City Team Handball Club is a 501 (c) 3 charitable organization and was founded in 1973 by a few UN employees. Our purpose is to inspire all our members (69+ different countries) to live and breathe the Olympic values of friendship, inclusion, courage, respect and excellence. We are dedicated to the spirit of team handball, the physical and emotional benefits it provides and more importantly connecting people from around the globe in the greatest city on earth. We intend to reaching out to all the people who otherwise would not have the opportunity to learn and play team handball and provide them the tools, and knowledge to learn the sport. Introducing the opportunity to fully develop their team handball skills and competitive potential for a lifetime of enjoyment.
