    Newell Brands’ Argentine team was recently recognized in the Martín Fierro Digital Awards, granted by the Association of Argentine Television and Radio Journalists, which honors successful digital campaigns. The team accepted an award in a new category, Best Interactive Promotional Campaign, for its work celebrating 100 years of the Oster® brand with the slogan “lo bueno es para siempre.” The award-winning campaign highlighted Argentine families’ pride and trust in Oster’s products to create special moments that transcend generations. The campaign exemplified Oster's personal connection with its consumers through touching testimonials and showed the versatility of the brand’s product offerings by creating recipes using several appliances. The digital strategy for the campaign included branded content and influencer marketing, integrating the brand into key dates such as Father's Day and El Día del Amigo (Friends Day). Newell Brands Argentina also received a nomination in the same category for a recent Sharpie® campaign, which connected the brand’s diverse product portfolio with the country’s rich culture.     In 2024, Newell Brands welcomed 46 students from 25 colleges across the U.S. and Canada to Newell Brands’ Career Acceleration and Mentorship Program (CAMP). Each intern took on a Career Acceleration Main Project – an initiative they owned for twelve weeks and presented to company leaders at the end of the program. Every intern also had a manager and mentor to support them throughout their time at Newell, and opportunities to contribute to significant projects, participate in volunteer events and virtual and in-person networking activities, and gain meaningful experience.     September 15-October 15 is Hispanic Heritage Month in the U.S.! To recognize the month, we spoke to the Co-Chairs of HOLA, our Employee Resource Group for Hispanic and Latinx employees and allies, about their experience at Newell Brands. Andrew Hutchinson, Vice President, LATAM (Andean, Southern Cone & CAC Cluster), manages several countries in the Latin America region. He shared, “In recent years, we have been evolving our go-to-market strategy across Latin America, combining the strength of our powerful brand portfolio to further solidify our customer partnerships and forge closer ties with our consumers. Being part of this organizational transformation has been energizing and exciting!” Andrew was inspired to get involved with HOLA because, even though he has British parents, he spent most of his childhood living in Latin America. Today, he lives in Miami, FL, a city heavily influenced by its diverse Latin population. “Although I have a long history working in Latin America, over 30 years, I still have much to learn about the region. Becoming a part of HOLA has allowed me to interact with co-workers who are proud of their Hispanic heritage and help HOLA allies learn about Latin culture and its people,” he said. Juan Mena, HOLA’s second Co-Chair and Sr. Manager, Demand Planning for our Home & Commercial Segment, takes pride in leading a cross-functional team and helping grow our brands’ market share in Latin America. When asked what Hispanic Heritage Month means, he said, “This month is an opportunity to reach our base, both Hispanic and Amigos, share our culture, and give back to the organization. We can share how our community can contribute to strategic goal achievement, both as employees and as an important segment of consumers.” Juan hopes that HOLA can contribute to the company’s high-performance culture by giving members the tools they need to be a part of Newell’s success story. He shared that the ERG focuses on our value of Passion for Winning, “leveraging Hispanic passion to attain exceptional performance by learning and focusing on our consumers.” Stay tuned as we speak to more HOLA leaders throughout the month!
