They worked hard sorting and inventorying donations from FedEx, who we've recently partnered with to regularly receive donations of requested items that have lost their packaging or cannot otherwise be reconciled. We had so much fun at the Chicken N Pickle Give Back Night last night! Look good, do good. 💜 EB and Co., a local, woman-owned accessories business, believes in helping women feel confident and making fashion a force for good. Emily and her team have once again donated live-transforming funds to survivors at Newhouse and we are beyond grateful! Thank you, EB and Co., for supporting the brave child and adult survivors of domestic violence who look to Newhouse for safety and healing. 

Three cheers for our MVPs, Kansas City Chiefs Junior Cheerleaders! ❤️ On Saturday, one of our young residents was on GEHA Health field at Arrowhead Stadium for the first preseason Chiefs Charity Game benefiting Jackson County CASA. This little lady attended many practices to prepare for her big debut and we were SO proud to see her feeling confident and rocking it on the field! A BIG thank you to the Chiefs Cheerleaders for inviting some of our children last year and this year. We appreciate you!

Our kids are READY for school, thanks to the Imagine a Day Gala Committee and everyone who sent us back-to-school supplies! We also took children and parents out shopping for first-day outfits and other items so they could feel confident as they start the school year. Thank YOU to everyone who made our kids smile! As one of the last field trips of our 10-week summer camp, our kiddos got to tour Sporting Kansas City’s facility and even got to head down to the pitch! Each kid left with a goodie bag and a big smile. Thank you, SKC, for a great afternoon! ⚽🩵

We just answered an urgent call for help from a pregnant mother, who was threatened at gun point, and her young child. They needed a pack-and-play and baby items as they move into safe shelter, and it turns out we are pretty low on pack-and-plays, bedding, kids’ toothbrushes, and other necessities.
