Organized by the International Astronautical Federation (IAF) and hosted by the Agenzia Spaziale Italiana (ASI) and AIDAA - The Italian Association of Aeronautics and Astronautics , this year’s event centered on the theme “Responsible Space for Sustainability”, stressing the importance of a safe, cooperative space environment for future generations. The congress serves as the most significant global space industry gathering, connecting key stakeholders from the public and private sectors. At the event, NewSpace Advisors proudly represented Uruguay, with our CEO - Cesar Costa and Head of Legal - Mariana Garcia, actively participating in two key meetings: 🌔 Artemis Accords - Heads of Agency Meeting: Gathering leaders from 45 nations, this meeting focused on furthering the principles of the Artemis Accords to ensure safe, sustainable exploration of the Moon and beyond. It was an honor for Cesar and Mariana to meet and shake hands with host leaders such as Bill Nelson, Head of NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration, and discuss how Uruguay can become a critical player in space sustainability. 🌎 IAF Global Space Leaders Summit: Where Uruguay presented its initiatives among 61 other global Heads of Space Agencies/Offices from 50 nations.
