Last year Phil worked with KD Market to design and build prototypes for produce bins for one of their stores. They are now in store and look great! The bins are rough oak from Kamps, including the slanted toppers - all designed in house! Thank you KD market for partnering with us!

Congratulations to our Workforce Development at Kent ISD team along with Next Step of West Michigan, Grand Rapids Community College, Gerald R.Ford Job Corps Center, and YouthBuild Grand Rapids for receiving the Outstanding Collaboration Award at the 2024 LINC UP Community Spirit Awards! The collaborative, intended to unite community partners to support the talent pipeline that is needed to fulfill the projects of downtown Grand Rapids, were awarded for their involvement in the Grand River Youth Workforce Collaborative, facilitated by Downtown Grand Rapids Inc.
