Last week, we announced a strategic collaboration with Bayer to develop small molecules targeting long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) in oncology. With our Bayer colleagues, we’ll jointly advance two first-in-class, lncRNA-targeted oncology programs in high unmet need indications. Our differentiated approach – which involves inhibiting the function of lncRNAs by disrupting the interaction between lncRNAs and RNA-binding proteins with small molecules – can be leveraged across many therapeutic areas, including oncology and neuroscience, among others. We look forward to working closely with Bayer while continuing to build our internal pipeline and forge strategic partnerships to maximize the broad potential of the lncRNA target class.
