This is an electric vehicle. We recently completed the conversion of the first Nice Suzuki Samurai, a 1987 two-seater with retro vibes. Within a week of hitting the streets, it was awarded Best SUV at Electrify Expo! Nice transforms batches of vintage vehicles into beautiful, zero-emissions, affordable EVs. Our aim is to reduce waste through circularity and draw down carbon emissions by providing an alternative to buying new, accelerating the consumer adoption of EVs. Up next, we will be converting a small batch of Samurais, partnering closely with our first cohort of Nice customers. Other recent highlights: - Nice is evolving rapidly and learning from Impact and Transportation Industry superstars, thanks to the Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator (LACI)'s Incubation program. - We welcomed Blake Ferguson as Nice CTO, leading Manufacturing Technology and Operations. - The Nice Suzuki Samurai was in good company at Electrify Expo in Denver, with Lightship's prototype camper behind us, SUPER73, Inc. bikes next to us, and other impressive vintage EV conversions nearby. - Technician Sarah Lyon and I spoke at the annual State of Charge conference, where we shared ideas with leaders in EV conversion, leaving energized and optimistic about the future of this space. #electricvehicles #circulareconomy

I'm happy to share that Nice was accepted into the Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator (LACI)'s 8th Incubation Cohort! Nice transforms batches of vehicles into beautiful, zero-emissions, affordable EVs. Keeping vehicles in use via scaled remanufacturing will put us on the fast track to decarbonizing transportation. Congrats to the team that helped get us here! Sarah Lyon, Blake Ferguson, Chloë Greene and our many consultants and advisors along the way. Thanks to the wonderful crew at LACI for welcoming me into the program during our first in-person session last week at the La Kretz Innovation Campus in DTLA. 🙌 And, congratulations to our impressive cohort peers, which you can read about here: https://lnkd.in/gAtdgEnA
