Here’s why it matters so much: When employees aren’t satisfied with their work schedule, it affects how they perceive all aspects of their job. Workhuman reports that employees whose work arrangement DOES NOT FIT their preference are less likely to feel connected to their organization’s culture, they're less likely to accomplish the tasks they need to during the work week, and they’re less likely to see a path for future growth at the organization. 48% are planning to look for a job in the coming year. 80% of employees who say they have received MEANINGFUL FEEDBACK in the past week are fully engaged, regardless of how many days they worked in the office. In fact, it’s so effective that Gallup says it’s a great manager’s most important habit. Of course, there’s a catch. Gallup found that among nearly 15,000 employees, only 16% said the last conversation with their manager was extremely meaningful. The takeaway?
