To the NeurIPS Affinity communities and organizers: In my 30 years in the industry—spanning trade shows, corporate events, and academic conferences—I have never received a card that moved me to tears as yours did. I had to close it while in Vancouver and wait until I was home to fully read the heartfelt notes each of you wrote. Over the past four years, my journey of learning about the academic sector of conferences and embracing DEI inclusiveness has been profoundly humbling.
