The Partners at Nirman Ventures are delighted to announce our association with Qubu as an investor and advisor in this exciting new startup that is putting the automated design of multi-family residential buildings on steroids. We join Czech Founders VC & Zero One Hundred as early stage investors and as the first American VC partner for this Slovakian enterprise. Qubu has developed unique generative algorithms that produce precise results in a fraction of the time required by traditional residential design processes. The automated design method can be easily adapted for compliance with any national or municipal building code, and additional plug-ins extend the capabilities to daylighting and energy compliance. The development roadmap includes many additional capabilities and will eventually cover other building types. Qubu is currently deploying and refining its offering in its European base, but strives to have global impact, becoming a tool of choice for real estate developers, architects, engineers and municipalities around the globe.
